Another site launch

Just a quick post to say that we've launched another customer site - we've worked with eModeration for a while on a range of projects, but this time we were asked to develop their site using Plone. A strong look and feel makes it one of the least 'Ploney' sites we've put public.

Great site guys, but tell me why did you choose plone, were there important benefits that it brought or was it just a client preference?

Two reasons really. The customer already had a Plone site that we were replacing, so was used to the technology, but also the power of Plone out of the box means that we can put sites together very easily without worrying about building all the admin interface bits and bobs that would be missing with a 'simpler' system. Tamara gets workflow, users, WYSIWYG editing, content previewing and all sorts without having to pay for us to write them.

That, and of course we're good at it, which means we do the job quicker and cheaper.
